How did you used to pay for membership? (without your parents permission)

Back in the day when i got my first membership back in like 06ish. I had been f2p for 3 years. I was 12 years old and my parents of course would never buy me a membership. So all sneaky i would use the pay by cash option. I think they got rid of it in like late 2007 or early 2008 due to the U.S economy. Anyways i would sneak envelopes and stamps from my days office and send jagex(I had to sneak out of the house to mail itXD) $10. 10-20 days later i was a member! lmao, good times. When they got rid of it i was heart broken. Then i found sythe and would buy pins. Do some trades to get cash for membership. Then i discovered the magic of paypal!

 

I used to have a £10 top-up on my mobile phone every month for free texts and i would spend that on membership

 

I would ask my mum for phone credit, I payed membership by the phone and then used the rest of the credit for texting.

back in the day i just had a pre-paid mobile phone card, i then payed with the mobile phone option, went to a supermarket and bought a new money card for my pre-paid card^^

 

I had a friend at school do it. I'd pay him the $10 (which he was supposed to give to his mum) and he'd put my membership on. After a few months his mother got my account banned for using a stolen credit card (I guess he didn't give his mum the money haha) and I never saw the account again.

 

I spent ages f2p 'till I found Sythe back when large pin shops would sell membership for like 2 bucks.

My first time I made myself a membership was when I was like 13, my mom lent me her credit card (this is because I have a trust relationship with my mother though)

I used to put £10 onto my mobile phone every now and again, and every month £5 for my membership, until my £10 would run out (membership would cost £5.10 because you had to send a text) then i would add another £10 and start the process again.

You can buy more then 1 membership at a time so yeah my main has membs till 2017 my goldfarming accounts have membs for 3-4 months
