2007 Runescape Sub sections

Not sure if this is a good idea or not but was thinking we should make sub sections for 2007 rs in runescape general and runescape cheating, if not entirely new sections . At this point they are going to pretty much be two totally different games.

I support this and agree 100% they are literally going to be 2 different games.

 

Should wait until a final verdict is reached upon by Jagex, before making any new sections.

 

Even when the vote ends didn't they say it would still be 1-2 months?

 

Well there will for sure be 07 scape there is no doubt about that they have reached over the vote amount needed for it.

 

Yea but there's tons of discussion now and don't we want to attract returning runescape players who will be searching for forums?

 

Just make another section like RSC when it is confirmed/close to release and then release further sections in response to the demand.

 

I also feel that if there is so much discussion about it, and IT is for a fact coming which it is. Then having sections about it may attract more people. As to the Ingame money won't be the same we will need 2 sections

 

Any other staff have a opinion about this?

 

Depends how big RS07 gets. im expecting it to overrun RS13, so yeah, i'd support this.

 

My sticky for it was removed, so now everyone's gone back to spamming 20000000 threads. We need a discussion section for this as a subsection like classic is, it's really starting to annoy me now...

 

Exactly what I was going to say.
No need for yet another (temporary) dead section.

 

It's the main topic right now so we all just have to deal with it.

 

50k was a guarenteed server, we've hit 50k, therefore it's going to be made. The RS classic section is close enough to dead, so I can't see why it would hurt as a subsection of RS General

 

Why not just turn the classic into the 2007 section, and move ALL rs classic under it as a single subforum within the newly updated section?

I didn't know they were releasing a 2007 version server, that's cool. I might actually play a bit if they do.

 

Seeing by the amount of votes it's quite obvious it's going to be very big.

 

This goes two ways. If we do that it will be almost separating the different versions. Yet I support it, since it will probably dominate EoC servers anyway.

 

I don't really see how it would be a "dead" section. 07 scape is coming for sure. He has reached the votes amount needed. Also, that's what almost everyone is talking about and it is flooding the runescape section. Those are going to be completely separate games. I think the section would be a lot more alive then people think it would be.

 

I support this, there should be seperate sections for both versions.
But put this on hold until they are launched, too early now
