Katana?

Anyone know of ways to receive the Katana, the old membership card item? I've been searching through and couldn't find any for sale. Any help on this matter?

 

I want to say that it was a limited time offer/promotion.

You can't get it anymore until they offer the promotion again, if they do.

 

you can still get it from squeal of fortune, but its an extremely rare item. I've seen it on the wheel several times but I've never seen someone actually wearing one that was won from SOF.

 

There is two different Katana. SOF and the promotional. Promotional katana is unobtainable; I'm not sure if SoF katana is still obtainiable or not

I'm pretty sure the sod has (golden?) katana? Don't quote me on that but I'm pretty sure it's still on there.

The golden katana is an item distributed to certain players starting on 22 July 2012[1]. Auspicious Katana:

For the record, the one on the SoF is called the Auspicious Katana.

 

To note, this is the only katana that matches the Godswords stats and serves an effective purpose outside of looking captivating.

LOL @ what this threads becoming.. But i would kill for one of those katanas. Makes you stand all crazy and looks badass.. I wonder if its as rare as like 200m...

 

Clearing up a misconception - you can still obtain the Golden Katana(the Amazon 90-180day card membership)

 

I've always like the Katana. Although with the EOC coming out, we'll all be able to stand like 'badasses,' all day. But if there was people selling the membership card with the Katana, I bet some people, including myself, would pay a heavy amount of GP, haha! I was curious. Thanks for this discussion guys.

 

Yohojo was selling them on here for... I believe it was 65m each. I nearly bought one.

Almost positive that's wrong. I recently got my katana - and from what I recall, it has said the golden katana has been discontinued for a while.

 

Auspicious Katana = SoF
Golden Katana = Must purchase a 90-day or longer membership from Jagex on Amazon (I think this promo is over though).

 

One of the few threads that acctually deserve to be closed, and it gets the same response 6 times.
