Help me pick out my car!

Okay in 1 month I can drive and I've made a nice chunk of change from staking about ~4k so I'm going to buy a car! So I'm just wondering if you guys have any ideas for my first car??

I've been looking at 96-2001 Ford Mustangs' but haven't found anything that stands out yet though. Know any good ones for 3-4k?

    ~Thanks.

tbh just get something that works properly, dont focus on a "flashy" car now especially not with only 4k

Honda Del Sol with a custom body kit...? Those are awesome.
Civic, VW Jetta, Nissan cars if you want good mileage.

Those old Mustangs are hard on the engine; I really wouldn't recommend any mustang not 2010 or 1969. lol

If you live in an area that gets moderate or severe winters, you aren't going to want a mustang. They don't do well in snow or ice. Hell, even a bad rain can hinder them.

Find something AWD. If not, FWD, rear wheel drive is not an option. Look for a nice Jetta perhaps, you'll be pleased with it.

Help me pick out my car!

    Get a Lincoln Towncar.

It's what I had for my first car, worked great. Got A LOT of miles out of it. Looked like a granny car, fit a lot of people though. It was basically a couch on wheels. :D

Help me pick out my car!

I just bought a car, and before I did, I did a lot of research on it.

I'd recommend not buying a sports car, you will end up spending a lot on insurance. Check out Craigslist though, they have some amazing deals.

Help me pick out my car!

Umm....please DON'T plan on buying a Ford Mustang...it's overrated. I saw this kid who has a Black Mustang at my school (the new ones) and I thought it was pretty cool...3 months later, there's seven fucking mustangs all over the school and everywhere I turn, I see one. Even my neighbor has one and it's getting really ugly now that I keep seeing it all over the place.

With 3K - 4K, you can't really buy a car other than like a 2000 Toyota Camry or something (if you're lucky). If your parents are willing to help pay an extra 4K, you can get some nice old cars like SL500 from '98, Lowriders, etc.

Actually only 2 mustangs at my school. But anyways I don't think I'm going to buy one because we get bad winters. I don't think it would weather that well.

If it snows a lot, get a good reliable car. I'd personally recommend a MK4 golf, with all weather tires. Cheap, and economical.

My sister has the 2011 Honda Civic's and I have to admit it, I really enjoy it. Try looking into the older ones that will fit your price range.
