    Ok here 2 suggestion,
    I guess we'll begin with the bump button,
    Currently, it is not being used by many people,
    and I would like to see this be changed

    Current Button:
    • When you click the button it bumps your thread,
    • gives no post count, because of this people are just replying to their thread for the post count
    What I would like implemented:
    • Gives post counts
    • Reply to the thread with a message that is inputted by the user example " Bump, drop by a broken gold for the best rates"
    • when you click it auto bumps the thread, with an another button next to it allowing you to bump it.
    • basically, works the same as the current button but replies to the thread

    advantages:
    • Will increased use of the button by over 100%
    • will remove bump bypass which you can currently do

    Suggestion 2.

    if you bump a thread within past 5 mins and you are afk you will receive a punishment, I would like to have a specific amount of time specified somewhere on the rules, as in if I go afk after 30 mins will I receive punishment? or after an hour?
    as in how long after a thread can I go away from the market without receiving punishment?

    Wasn't one of the reasons behind the bump button was to reduce the clutter on the threads. So I don't think this will work.
    And I don't understand what 'punishment' you can give for people being afk.

    would you rather see the peace of content used and see more "clutter" or see 90% of threads full of clutter and button not be used?


    if you bump a thread within 30 mins , and you are not active, you can receive a market ban for 24 hours, hence why a lot of place's stop using auto bumpers , so I'm just asking for specific time on how long after you bump the thread before this punishment can be received as there specific time

    I don't see any point in this, it doesn't change anything basically, and bump button is really inconvenient and annoying to use

    I use bump button and I like it, but maybe and an warning whenever you are spending sythe gold for a early bump?

    Is bumping (use of the bump button) a requirement? I thought it was agreed on a bit ago that just posting "bump" would result in infractions. I think if use of the bump button was a requirement, it would be a lot better.

    Do you mean that manually typing "bump" is against the rules? Or what do you mean by infractions?

    Oh, a bit ago someone suggested, when the bump button was initially release, that posting bump to bump your thread lead to spam infractions. What I mean by infractions is the things that build up and if you get too many it leads to a 3-day ban. Would be hard to overhaul everything though.

    No you don't get an infraction for replying to a thread,
    I remember it was stated that damage was already done for bumping for post count so it was just allowed to carry on :)

    Sorry ABM, you're a good guy but I have to say no support to this.

    I personally use the bump button each and every day for my sale thread. Some people might say it looks good when someone has a high post count, but in my opinion, having a higher post count full of "bumps" doesn't really look good, it just proves you're active in one section in particular. I'd rather have 250 post count with actual content than 500 "bumps", hence why I prefer to use the bump button over typing it manually.

    And as previously mentionned above, if your suggestion would be accepted, it would in a certain way contradict why the bump button was initially implemented.
