2 day botting ban

I am curious how long an account has to age in order to get a 2 day ban instead of a permanent ban. Does it have to be created from a home ip? Lets share our information on this topic

No set info on the topic, would need to collect a lot of data.
I've heard botting non-goldfarmy things has a higher chance of a 2 day ban vs perm.

I’ve experimented with this quite often especially when I ran my gold farms back in the day. I had accounts fresh off tut island perm banned every time after about 48/72 hrs of pure hunting. They would not train any other stats or do anything else.

I began to age the accounts in an attempt to recycle them as much as I possibly could by creating hundreds of accounts and not using them for 3 months at which point I decided they were likely good to go. This did not work. I’ve tried fresh accounts that were aged for over a year that I intended to use for their purposes an they were also perm banned.

It is come to my attention that it is not the age of the account but seems to run off total level and progress made on the account. I’ve had multiple low level above 500 barely and 750 skill total accounts get 2 day bans that were less then a month old. Hope this helps

Unfortunately through my research I’m inclined to believe if the account is 100% bottled for its total level or even higher then %50 you will receive a permanent ban. The most fullproof method I’ve found is to buy accounts that are garbage and cheap that were used by people as a legit account before being acquired by the gold farmer and to run it dry. I’ve had some of these accounts make it to 40m hunter botting for weeks straight before there first ban. It’s simply not worth the time it would take to invest in leveling stats and total past that of the permanent ban margin imo.

 

I see. And probably if you play on a proxy on those accounts and stay in contact with the original owner they can even recover it when its permanently banned.

 

Temporary bans are generally automatically detected by Jagex’s anti-cheat system. If you receive a manual ban from a J-mod, 9/10 it’ll be a permanent.

 

Funny you should say that honestly, this is one of those mains I used for about 50m hunter xp I was able to recover last night. 300m was on the account too

 

what kind of bot did you use? a private script?

 

It's usually older accounts with decent progress done. From my experience, most 2 day bans are the result of ban waves.

 

Depends on the account age aswell I believe.

Have just recently botted an 8 year account to 1400 total level and full void, unfortunately it only got banned because of my own carelessness, but 2 day ban nevertheless. None of the skills were legit trained.

 

This is pretty much all that is known at this time and probably forever. We can only speculate.
