Should I get Prayer?

Hey everyone, just wondering if I should get 44 prayer on my pure.
Here are it's current combat stats:


With 44 Prayer I will be able to do DT and MM with ease (Haven't done both because I've been too lazy) and I'll be able to quest a lot easier.

I'll also eventually be able to get a firecape and protect melee in the wild (I get pj'ed a fair bit atm)

Or should I stay at this prayer level, I can quest a bit more prayer exp and I'll also be able to get Ava's accumulator.

Post reason's why I should or should not get 44 prayer.

If you want to get prayer up, you should probably raise your combat skills before PKing and doing other things. If your combat skills are going to stay the same, there's no need for you to raise prayer.

 

True, I will be training my combat stat's more.
Aiming at 90+ Str, 82 Mage, 80+ Range.

 

I wouldn't. I've done DT and MM with 11 & 1 prayer multiple times.
It's easy.

 

52 prayer will be ok

 

Smiting is useless to me, 44 would be the max.

I know, I've done it before many, many years ago.

Do you have any decent guides for it?
