Current banrate for botting in general atm?

anyone know if its easy to get banned on osrs for botting right now?

Depends on what bot/script you use, but yes the ban-rates are very high. It isn't unheard of getting away with botting, though. I know plenty of people who bot on their mains.

I'm currently botting 3 accounts, only doing melee.

At 54/50/45 atm

 

Just had 2 decent accounts get banned yesterday.

 

Just got banned botting 32-61 wc on an alt using a free tribot script. Ban rates depend on the script you're using and a lot of other factors. Most people get banned eventually

 

I think play like random humans, run accounts like individuals, purchase sock proxies and befriend a talented scripter for help with avoiding bans.

 

Incredibly high, even if you take all of the propper precations.

I'd advise using paid scripts, during hours normal to your play. Don't try and get a script that's too elaborate, try and stick to simple tasks. I.E. WC / Fishing / Alching / Fletching etc.

 

The banrate is incredibly high right now. I've lost so many accounts its tragic.

Got banned twice using the premium NMZ script in tribot, within 3 hours.

 

I think most goldfarmers get banned quicky.

I have a friend who never got banned using Tribot runecrafting bot he uses it for like 6 months now and still not banned. He made around 600m if not more on 1 account.

 

Does this mean Gold Farming on 07 is dead, or is it still a way to earn real money?

Ban rates are extremely high at the moment. Very popular methods will result in quick bans. It is recommended to bot in p2p rather than f2p (horrible profits and ban rate on f2p). There are plenty of good free scripts out there, just do your research on the script and read the forums in order to get an idea if the script is good or not. That being said, the high profiting methods will always be premium, and with a good quality script, you can extend the life of your bots, thus increasing profits.

 

probably using the same script. I got a 2 day ban on my zerker at 60/90/45
Needless to say not going to continue botting it.

 

botting seems pretty pointless now days, most people get banned within a day

 

I get away with botting just fine, it just cant be the obvious botting. Gota be smart with it and always use a VPN or Proxy

 

Banrates probably depend on the script being used and how long you use it. I got away with a 99 100% botting. Just bot safely I guess.
