i got banned tuesday morning at around 3 amish it is now wednesday 11:18 am

i can't figure out what timezone jagex unbans accounts in? and what timezone the message they sent me about the ban is in if its 4:35 am or pm?

 

i've got banned for this aswell last week but your lucky that urs 24h ban. mines is permenant.

 

yeah, you got pretty lucky with only a 24hr ban. take it as a warning and don't do it again if you value your account

I got perm banned a few days ago. Skipped right over the 2 day.

Yeah, really consider yourself lucky i have never heard of a temp ban for this and i know about 4 people who have been banned for the same method.

Jagex works on their timezone, which is GMT (London), that is my timezone and it is currently 19:09, you are 5 hours behind me so work it out.

If you would like to TRY and avoid being banned for this in the future (TRY being the keyword, i'm not sure if this is 100% guarenteed to not get you banned) , i know one of my friends uses Auto Hot Keys and an auto typer to trigger the Auto Hot Keys, which will then click for you. apparently it seems alot more legit on jagex's point of view but I can't be positive, he has been doing this on various accounts since about august last year and has never even got 1 ban or any warnings.

I probably didn't explain that very well but hopefully you can understand what i mean still

Jagex's stance on AHK is extremely ambiguous. I realize that a lot of the top ranked players are known to consistently use AHK and have not been punished, but then you also have stuff like this: https://www.reddit.com/r/2007scape/...se_have_a_definitive_statement_on_ahk/cuncnns

 

That is definitely weird never knew it could be bannable.

Why would you even auto - click ... consider yourself lucky.

 

The traceability of auto-clicking nowadays is so easy that in no way, shape, or form should it ever be used.


I used it a bunch in like 2007-2008 and never got banned but times have changed.

 

Yeah auto clicking is the oldest one in the book Can't do that.

Rule of thumb is don't bot what you don't want to lose. A rule I never manage to follow.
