Is there a way to remove that small border around the right and bottom edges of my avatar? It isn't part of the photo file so I'm not sure how to get rid of it.

 

Open it in paint, use the dropper tool thing to get whatever color the background is, and use the pencil tool to color in the border the same color as the background. You can also make the image transparent, and fix it that way

 

Yeah for some reason it still has that small border on the right and bottom. It isn't part of the image.

 

If you zoom in closely, there is an outer glow on the face, text, and border. I removed the glow surrounding the border for you.
