Runescape Client Error

When trying to load runescape for the past week it always comes up with the error "error saving file" and it won't load.

I found on the runescape tech support to delete these:

%HOMEDRIVE%\.jagex_cache_32
%WINDIR%\.jagex_cache_32
%USERPROFILE%\jagexcache\runescape\LIVE
%USERPROFILE%\.jagex_cache_32

After searching them and finding them, it seems to work but the next day I get the same error.

I don't want to have to keep going and deleting these files. Even after deleting them, runescape loads as if its the first time its being opened and it takes a long time. I realize it's just an inconvenience but if anyone has a quick fix it would be greatly appreciated.

 

There can be many events which may have resulted in the system files errors. An incomplete installation, an incomplete uninstall, improper deletion of applications or hardware. It can also be caused if your computer is recovered from a virus or adware/spyware attack or by an improper shutdown of the computer. All the above actives may result in the deletion or corruption of the entries in the windows system files. This corrupted system file will lead to the missing and wrongly linked information and files needed for the proper working of the application.

First things first, uninstall the client, then reinstall it.

If problems persist, do a system restore to an earlier date when this wasn't a problem.

If that still doesn't work, check for viruses via malwarebytes, then download a system repair tool to repair the corrupt files.

Nice explanation. I had this problem too but dont remember how I got rid of it.

 

have you tried going into the systems folder and deleting the entire Cache under JAMFLEX folder
