    A strange alternative to botting

First off, I just want to say, i'm sure someone else has already had this idea, but since i'v personally never seen it used or talked about, i'm going to bring it up as my own.

    Anyway,

A long while ago, one of the bot clients (powerbot maybe?) changed all the regular trees in the game to the ID of the tree model that was used in a christmas event throughout christmas time. Obviously this was a client sided thing, and only you personally were affected by it, but since then i'v been thinking about it a lot, and why exactly can't we do that with ANY model at ANY time?

    Think about it like this.

You're doing an agility course, and all the little things you press are small click boxes, leading to you often having to click more than one time to hit it. What if instead there was a script running that checked your progress throughout an agility course, and changed the model, or even expanded out a few vertices of the next thing you were supposed to click on to enlarge it, then after you were past that, it would shrink it back down and do the next part of the course. It would be like the current "paint" interfaces on clients hi-lighting the next object the script would be clicking on, but instead of it doing the work for you, it just gave you a much easier time by enlarging, and even possibly MOVING the clickable region of the object to the center of the screen. Imagine you're going through ape atoll course and instead of having those tiny ass rocks to click on, after you get past the monkey bars, all the rocks turn in to corporeal beasts and you have something HUGE and much easier to click, possibly without even needing to move your mouse!

With that, you could make agility courses as AFKable as alching or repetitive teleporting. As far as skewing the models/objects go, I don't know how detectable that would be, but aside from that, i'd assume it would be VERY hard for jagex to know you're not doing the course correctly, considering the mouse coordinates are only in two dimensions, over a 3D world, giving them an almost impossible way of being able to detect that your screen isn't just in an odd position or something.

Anyway, it's just an idea. It doesn't need to be used specifically for agility courses, but that's the best way I can explain it.

Feel free to leave feedback on why this is the stupidest thing you'v ever heard and how it can't work, or why it's a great idea and someone should start developing on it :p

Doesnt sound like it would be banable anyways. 1 input 1 output?

Although, making any type of program that isnt used for botting seems like a lot of work for little rereward to me.

I see it more of being like the orion client. Like a help tool, that's just giving you MORE of an advantage.

The upside to it is that it would be 1i1o, so if they stuck by that, it wouldn't be bannable, and you would be able to train easier if you were against or afraid of botting. But I can see why if you were someone who bots already that it'd be a waste.

    Just a thought.

It is an interesting idea for sure.

If there was a way to make this, then stack multiple clients upon each other.. staggering the clicks by randomizing which click goes to what account.

I suppose this could be used for Goldfarming, lol.

200k/hr method, and play on 25 accounts simultaneously.. 5m/hr.

As much as some people make irl.
And technically, couldn't be banned for anything except RWT.

Wouldn't that ruin the 1i1o thing? 1 input, 25 out lol. But that'll be our secret... >:)

If I'm reading this right, you can already do this within a bot client. You run the script, then press pause or something, then you just go through and it moves along like the bot is doing it, but you are the one doing it.

I'm aware of that. That's not at all what i'm saying. The script would run with you having control of the mouse, it checks your position, then changes the actual model ID of the next thing you click to be much larger, rather than just painting a box over it (but still keeps to the normal click radius of the original object) to make it look easier to click.

To be able to do this it would take a lot more modification of the client, it would be very hard, but a good idea.

no its actually very simple. The reason why i dont do it is because i dont even have to click models in my bot i just call the processAction method

Dunno if it's considered gravedigging if I bring this thread back to life, but I still feel a need to discuss it without making a new thread :p So, bump.

Yeah I'm sure it wouldn't be too difficult, considering that things like orion already exist. To top it all off, you could use an auto-clicker for completly afk agility training without technically botting
