Although he's been banned for quite some time so if you've recently traded with him then it's possible he's vading. I suggest resolving his skype and reporting him with the IP included so staff can look for his current profile. Worst case scenario if you report him is that he has to repay you should he ever decide to pardon, if they have no record of it he could try and get un-banned without being required to repay you so I suggest reporting it and seeing if staff can find a current profile for him.

 

I'm an idiot. I sold 100mil to someone and didn't even ask to see his sythe profile. what about the chargeback? you think I can win if they check IP address matches? what if I contact credit card company and let them know what hes doing

 

You can always try sending paypal his skype with the conversations that you have. If the support knows anything about skype ips maybe they can see an ip match between the skype and paypal on top of seeing the things that he said. Worth a shot so you don't lose $$$$$$

 

What Xero said above me, although instead of just linking them the skype you may want to show proof of the skype IP. In the future make sure you only trade with people who have Sythe profiles lol

Looks like it's through his bank and not credit card, so at least you won't get hit with a $30 settlement charge. I don't think you'll win as he's already been refunded. Next time ask for an ID and verify the transaction's IP with the verified billing address. Always Google the PP email, name, address, before you transfer as well... you just didn't do your due diligence.

 

How do you not know his sythe username or was it off-site related? You just basically gave money to someone and expected cash in return without knowing if he was trusted or anything?
