Paypal Chargebacks

Hi,

today i was scammed. Money was sent via paypal "family&friends"

Is there some way to get your money back since it wont alowed me to opet a dispute!

Scammed also have unverified paypal account!

Is there a way to chargeback your money via "Unauthorized Clame" ?

 

As far as I'm aware if you use the gift option or the "Family & Friends" option, you'll not get it back in any way at all.

You'd have to dispute it with your credit card company or bank, if it was from your paypal balance it'd be difficult to get it back.

 

I contact my bank and they said i need to contact paypal 1st and then they will help me! Point is, how to contact paypal, since im not allowed to open dispute, only unauthorized transaction claim!

I aranged everything with my bank, they sent me dispute aplication and i sent him few evidance. Im w8ting for their and paypals respond! Ill reply back soon

 

Should of just filed an unauthorized claim. If you filed an item not received claim the seller could just say you received the goods via electronic delivery and since it was for a non tangible virtual good paypal will likely just close your case.

 

I cant fill dispute for item not received claim since money was sent via family and friend!

I filled unauthorized claim and they sent me this:
We've completed our review of your account and found that your account is secure and has not been accessed by an unauthorized third party. As a result, we've closed your unauthorized transaction claim.

If you're unhappy with your purchase, we encourage you to work with the seller to find a resolution. If you can't find a resolution, you may file a dispute in your Resolution Center.

I cannot open another unauthorized claim cuz i didnt win 1st one and its closed!

Should i call them or should i send them another email? and what should i tell them about next?

 

You can't dispute friends and family transactions if they are authorized, thats why people like to accept payments as friends and family.

Calling/E-mailing paypal and telling them you sent a payment as friends & family for payment will get you most likely limited because they see it as you're trying to avoid paying fee's.

Do what i said earlier and dispute it with your bank or credit card company. Paypal will most likely not help you.

Next time, send the payment as for a service.

 

I contact my bank and they said they need some information from paypal, some conversations me having with paypal, i dont really know what they want from me! cuz its international payment. I sent email to paypal and im still w8ting for their reply so i can sent some conversation with paypal to my bank!
