Sonys Stripped Down Barebones Android Interface For New Z3+

So I'm sure any the techies reading this have already heard about Sony's announcement on the Z3+ (however much we were anticipating their launch to be a Z4) so I won't go into much detail on the phones design or specs, instead I'll post a link to another article which details this:

Since the above article was released Sony has given us few and fare between updates, but one thing they have released is some images of their new "Concept for Android" user interface.
It is looking rather like Android 5.1 (Lollipop) with, of course, a few sony apps/services. It's looking nice so far, and I could see this turning into a rather nice UI.

Above is the images Sony released to us showing what their new UI is looking like at the moment, although with their beta system they are allowed SWEDISH Z3 users to sign up for their "Concept for Android" (basically a closed beta) to test and try out this new UI and give Sony feedback so that they can shape it into what customers want, instead of what they feel is best.

This idea reminds me a lot of what Microsoft is going with Windows 10, although this is quite a small number of people that can sign up.

This could be good news for Sony Xperia owners and enthusiasts alike, as it will bring a "fresh take on the Sony user experience". I would assume some of Sony's annoying preinstalled apps like LifeLog could up and go, although I myself wouldn't be complaining about that, and I'm sure you wouldn't either.

The "Concept for Android" system they are running at the moment is only available for Z3 users in Sweden (not Z3 compact) which would suggest they are overhauling the UI and featuring some nice new full HD icons etc, as the Z3 Compact is only boasting a 720p display compared to it's full sized counterpart's 1080p.

This system will be running from July 27 to September 13 and you can sign up now (link at the bottom) but not only do you have to be Swedish and own a Z3 device it will also completely wipe your device (erasing all personal data) so I would recommend you back up all of your data if you are successful on applying.

Ofcourse as any company would, Sony will be monitory how you use the device and what you do especially when any bugs and crashed occurs (being new software a lot probably will). You also will not be able to show anyone who is not a successfull applicant what the software lookings like so for us non-swedes, I guess we'll have to wait and see (or just wait for the leaks hehe).

That's all from me, hope you enjoyed the read. Will you be applying? Do you like what Sony is doing with their new idea? Tell me below!
