Banned for scamming?

First I'd like to clarify that I haven't even had access to the internet for the past 10 days so there is literally no way I could have logged on to runescape.
I did check my sythe messages a few times via mobile and public wifi to find I had been messaged hate and insults for something I was not aware of.

Before I left I informed customers I would be going, updated my thread and refunded those who responded and made the effort to meet me on runescape - I had no choice in the matter I could only refund those who responded before I left; I was leaving the country to visit family for private matters.

As far as I can understand 2 of my customers were hacked in the last 2 weeks, and I'm the suspect. This would be the reason I am banned (correct me if I'm wrong). I want to talk it over now that I'm back on a computer.
