Person recovered acct I purchased but I have RL info on him, what can I do?

    Hi,

I purchased an account from someone because I thought he was trustworthy at that time as he provided me his real life name, a photo of his ID, adding me on Facebook and full recovery questions (recovery questions are probably false). His account login name was also his real life name as reflected on his username. I still have all of this information. Is there anything I can do about this?

    Thanks,
    san3rd

Probably nothing you can do at this point if he truly is the original owner of the account. Jagex will always favor original owner in a case like this, but you can also try to have the account banned so he can't scam anyone again. Email jagex with proof you bought the acc so it can be locked / banned

Also report him in the report a scammer section

There is nothing you can do even if you're his neighbor. Contact Jagex and report him here if he has an account.
