Discuss this car: Kia Forte Koup

Heading to college soon, and getting a car instead of a truck to save better MPG.
What do you think about the looks of this car for a guy?
Rims? Need different color rims or keep?
I'll black out the windows and add stuff to it.
Any suggestions?

I hate the name Forte..

Mainly because growing up, there was this kid with a weird shaped head and that was his last name..

as for looks, it's not bad for a Kia. But I don't like Kia's. So I say no. There is better bang for your buck - MPG too.

Its an alright car all around but for the price you could probably get a much better ride lol.

 

Naah, even guys in Korea don't like the Forte :/

I say go for a Ford Fiesta, my friend got one and absolutely loves his. Got it pretty much fully loaded for only like 17k.

I just don't like Kias, but that decision is up to you. I have also drove the Chevy Cruise and it's a great car.

If you're looking for a sporty/affordable car, I was looking into Honda Civic coupe/mazda3/hyundai accent (not really sporty, but good price).

My second choice was chevy cruze.
The chevy cruze RS is pretty sporty but with the bigger wheels and fully loaded is around 26 or 27. That kia Forte fully loaded with everything is just 21. And the Kia is more sporty and HP.

 

The cruze is a LOT better. Yeah, its another rebranded Korean car, but its better than the Forte in every way.
