Alcohol is abused but it's legal, so I don't see why marijuana should be illegal. If it were legal, there would be an increase in organized crime (although, still with a large amount of illegal sales). The government could tax the hell out of it, like they do in Colorado, and it would create more "jobs" if you think of it that way (an odd angle to look at I guess). Owning dispensaries are apparently really good investments. My dad talks about how he wants to own one when it becomes legal in FL.
I've never smoked weed, so I personally don't care at all. I'm not too educated on the idea of the legality of marijuana, but it seems like it'd help more than it would hurt. People smoke left and right as it is, may as well profit from it, and help ill people feel better.
It's only a matter of time, marijuana will be legal in America nationwide eventually most likely.
