Staking

Right, I used to stake on runescape back in 2005/2006 on my pure, which I had a lot of luck on and won a bit of money. I enjoyed it a lot, however I went to the duel arena for the first time on 07 yesterday and I didn't seem to have much luck! My stats are 71-93-45 with 83hp and I repeatedly lost to someone with 76-76-69 and 72 hp.

Obviously the defence bonus helps a lot, but does it really better an extra +17 strength levels and 12 hps?

I've also noticed everybody only stakes very high amounts, and it's very hard to find a stake for a few hundred k like the old times, I'm far from rich so thats all I can afford!

Has anybody ever staked on a zerker pure - and what would you do if you was me, not bother staking at all or try and find people with similar stats as me to stake?

Are you just box or whip staking?

 

Either, I'm just asking for advice really. Would you reccomend staking with my stats? And if so what would be best, whip duels? dds duels? should I use attack or strength against high defence people? etc
