OSRS or WoW

Hey guys, post the pros and cons on each one of the games (help me choose which one to play and why) because I'm really confused.

 

Pros of Oldschool:

- Doesn't require too much attention
- Simple interface
- Currently costs $7 less than WoW / Will be $5 starting 2015

Cons of Oldschool:

- Bad community management
- Bad customer service
- Questionable game integrity
- Requires 75% community votes for non quality of life updates to be brought in
- Bad community
- Bad graphics
- A lot of complaints

Pros of WoW:

- Engaging game content
- Decent customer service
- Good character design
- Good graphics
- Good progression

Cons of WoW:

- Expensive membership
- Requires a lot of focus
- Bad community
- Slow pacing content
- Confusing interface for new players

 

If you like clickly simplistic 'browser' games over more interactive, immersed gameplay play OSRS. I feel like WoW is more of a commitment as well for whatever reason, probably because its noticeably expensive and the xpacs when new cost a fortune.

 

This is the dilemma I am facing as well atm, but more so RS3 or WoW. Runescape is cheaper and as such I'm leaning towards that.

 

This is a runescape biased forum so obviously if you ask here you'll know what answer you'll get lol

 

OSRS if you like simple gaming.

WoW if you enjoy more enhanced play.

 

Depends.

RS is more simple, play when you want and go at your own pace.

WoW you get hooked into playing and if you actually go hard you'll have set times for raids, PvP events which you'll have to commit to. Once you get to max level WoW is really fun, but the grinding is pretty bad. Although with RS you sit in one spot for hours clicking a tree to level up woodcutting.. so.. both are pretty bad.

tl;dr - WoW if you can commit, RS if not.

 

OSRS reminds me of how Runescape used to be, so i'd personally go with it.
