BoxBox Stream ~35 hours

Guy streamed for 35 hours, got from unranked>Plat 1. Props to him. got 210 Subs and max donation of $1000. Im guessing he made about $3000 in total :O in a day too. Thoughts?

 

good guess but at 22 hour mark he tallied up his donations when queuing with his friend, and was at $4700 or so without subs in count.. also keeping 30k viewers average for 35 hours is insane with 2 commercials roughly per hour.. around 400 an hour from just the viewers..

 

Now that my friend is insanely crazy. If I can make that much in a day I wouldn't know what to do with it! I would do this at least once a month if I were him to make good amount of money Crazy how he just graduated high school and is making more than an average American with little efforts as well.lol

 

Honestly its insane how much streamers can make especially with donations. I honestly don't get how people can donate so much money to a single person. No offense to any of the streamers but there are literally millions of other people in the world that would use the money or resources 100000% better then a nerd on the computer.

 

We can't tell his career, but if a streamer does it for charity then he is a good hearted person <3, but if he is planning to use it all for his own then soz :/, hopefully boxbox will go to college with that money as Im sure he wont donate it :/

 

little effort? he stayed up for 35 hours. when he normally streams he gets 5-10k sometimes more depending on whos on. people were mainly there to watch the marathon.

 

Yeah I feel ya, I mean if I was in the same position I would probably drop out of college right now and milk the fuck out of streaming if you can make even 50k+ a year which most popular streamers probably make streaming a decent amount of the time.

 

he's not a "nerd on a computer" he's working... Who cares if there are literally millions of other people that could use the money, what makes you think he couldn't use the money HE WORKED FOR? just because someone else is suffering does that mean that he should suffer too? After reading your posts I have the urge to hit you. How can 1 person be so stupid? It's called entertainment and guess what, the donators were fking entertained, now deal with it you wannabe internet hero, the protector of the millions who are in need or in other words a fking joke.

 

dunno if you guys know but in his AMA he stated that he really hates to play riven for hours, he only does it for the $$$. He even said that he noticed that people just went to his stream because of the "riven plays", so if he wants to milk streaming he needs to stick with riven.
Boxbox is a very smart person, honest and polite guy.

Tbh, who are we to say that he's a nerd, when people work on computers 40+ hours a week, photoshop, adobe, etc, even runescape.

This forum, I bet has people who work, so if we are to judge one person when they play a game, how would others judge us? ^ to the guys above


I left his game when he was feeding hard, he's awful tbh.

 

I'd love to make that much streaming. The only thing that bothers me in the market are women that aren't good commentators or players but, you know, tits.
