wouldnt reccomend an AMD build tbh.... I have one and most of the games are lagging, because most of the new games are optimised for nvidia

the r9 270x is a little pale in comparison to that CPU.

the 9590 is one bad ass cpu. the downside is that you MUST run it on water cooling. The watercooling system that comes with those processors is the minimum to keep that chip's temps under control. Without any overclocking...that cooler will suffice. If you wanna push that chip...you MUST upgrade to a premium cooler...so be sure your case will support a 240mm or 280mm radiator setup. I don't know anything about that case and CBA to look right now, so as long as you can fit two side-by-side 120 or 140mm fans in that case, with about 2-2.5 inches of mounting depth available...youll be fine for a future cooling upgrade.

Other than that GPU, I don't see anything wrong with that build at all. It will be a pure beast. What the previous poster said is partially true.. You won't have any problems with that CPU or any other FX-series CPU for gaming...so don't worry there. But that GPU will not handle the modern games well for a while. Hell, even the R9-290X has a hard time with the newest AAA titles. But this is not particularly due to the card being weak...it's due to poor optimization. The sheer fact though is that the NVidia cards that the games are designed for are not doing much better...so don't let that sway you. with enough patches from the developers, and with enough driver updates from the GPU companies, the games will eventually run just fine. It's a real shame. Almost seems intentional....gotta run the baddest-ass hardware just to run the game when it comes out...otherwise you gotta wait til it's optimized.

anyways...if you want to get the baddest-ass card for your budget...you should consider a used R9-290X. that r9-270x translates out to about 235 USD, where many R9-290x's are popping up on ebay (with warranty!!) for about 250. at that price, it's a HUGE bargain for the performance.

    I love AMD cpu's but their gpu's are...ehhh.
Just like the above poster said, that cpu is is a little heavy in comparison to a 270x.

I'll check out an R9 290X, thanks alot for the input; so im guessing that added fan i purchased wont be enough to keep it cool then? :p

Problem with getting water cooling; nor me or my friends have any idea how to install it lol.

That added fan won't do much good for that CPU as far as cooling is concerned. It will do well to assist in overall airflow throughout the case, as this will help keep other components cool. This is a good thing, and I'll explain further in a second based on your case.

The CPU you selected comes with a water cooler. it's an All-in-one unit and very simple to install. You install the block just like you would install a heatsink.. Four screws and a bracket if needed on the backside and that's it. It will already have thermal paste pre-applied, so all you have to do is press it on evenly and tighten it down without moving it around/smearing the thermal paste. then, just mount the radiator/fan combo where you want it. The included radiator/fan combo generally works best when installed as a rear fan due to short hoses and sizing on most cases.
The case you selected only includes one fan for the front. You could mount the extra fan you purchased in the front(2x120mm fans in front) then mount the CPU cooler+ Radiator on rear and overall it will maximize your airflow straight through the case, allowing for positive pressure inside the case aswell. Once everything is mounted, simply run your wires to the necessary places and everything is ready to go. Very easy, don't let it intimidate you. It's the custom watercooling loops that are tricky.

Motherboard is incompatible. Must use AMD's AM3+ socket. For that CPU, I recommend the Gigabyte 990fx UD boards. The UD3, 5, and 7 will work well and are generally recommended by AMD due to their ability to handle the immense power that CPU requires. My personal recommendation though would be the ASUS Sabertooth. GREAT board for AMD builds, the components that ASUS puts on their TUF series boards are of incredible quality, and I've built several Asus TUF-based PC's. Always impressed with the sabertooths and gryphons.

1000w power supply is wayyyyy overkill. 650-750w is all you'd need.

I'll check that out. I thought that too, except for the fact that graphics card uses 770W by itself..

R9-290 uses 215 watts average, ~350 watts max while gaming. Max load under furmark results in 419 watts. furmark is completely unrealistic though. It puts a demand on your video card that will never be found in games...it essentially is a great way to test your card in the most demanding environment possible. Great for testing overclock stability.

Your build looks pretty solid, only thing I can see improvement on is the SSD. Just speaking from past experience, it will run out of room very quickly only after a few games have been installed.

unsure why a hyper 212 evo was ordered. It won't have what it takes to cool that 9590. Heads up, keep a watchful eye on those temps.. you're playing with fire.
