Seller trying to scam one on Paypal

Hello I am a buyer who sent $50 as goods to someone over paypal to purchase a digital gift card. He did not give me the item I purchased so I created a dispute and it was escalated. He said he has proof of me agreeing to TOS and all the proof he needs to win the dispute. Btw I am verified he is not. He also supplied some sort of gift card tracking #.

Is there anyone on here that knows about disputes that can help me? This is my first dispute.

No he's not.. Paypal can check the tracking number to see if it's real or fake, I believe they also can see where the tracking number is being sent to, so if it isn't his address it's clearly a fake.

 

You'll never know what PP will do about it. Even the "lost" payments can be reversed so yeah, don't loose the hope.

 

If you're right and you know you're right, there's no evidence he can provide that can counter your real evidence. Just do what PP asks you to in the case and counter his and you'll be able to get it back.

 

Paypal will always look further into things sent to them by both parties, Dont give up quite yet.

Well I lost because it was a virtual good and paypal doesn't have protection for virtual goods.

 

If you're talking about a certain gift card seller that you opened up a scam report about, he's probably lying about the tracking #. I know he doesn't get those physically and since he doesn't, he can't have the #. Next time buy from legit sellers, not randoms. Sorry about your loss and if you ever actually need legit GCs, hmu
