    Hey guys,
I'm a big fan of airsoft and regularly attend skirmishes and Milsim events in my area, do any sythe members play airsoft as it's far bigger in the US than in the UK?
Interested to know about your loadouts and experiences. I've got a weekend long skirmish coming up and a halloween zombie game on saturday night with only pistols and shotguns which i'm looking forward to.

I currently run a full multicam loadout with 6 120rd G&G midcaps and a modded CM16, WE Glock 17 with 3 high caps and an L96.

Im an avid owner of real guns but can appreciate airsoft and paintball too.

Those are pretty sharp looking, are they electric or what? How do they cycle? Know any stats FPS wise?

Also do you own any actual firearms?

The rifle is electric, shooting about 18 RPS, 345 fps with a range of about 90metres due to a modification i've had done to the barrel, stock airsoft rifles usually shoot about 50metres .
Glock runs on green gas, the slide blows back with each shot and has quite a firm kick to it.

Workings wise they have a gear box, motor and cylinder, piston, spring etc.
Battery turns motor-motor turns gears-gears pull back spring/piston which forces air out of the cylinder into the chambered BB forcing the bb past a "hop up" system which applies backspin to keep the bb from just dropping off after 10 metres.

Here in the UK you can't own any decent firearms and even a shotgun requires a license, besides I won't be 18 for a while yet.

I used to be into paintballing and airsoft quite a bit when I was younger. Me and my brother bought air soft snipers, and also these electric m4 carbines. I now go hunting more rather than taking part in those activities. I have a 22 rifle to myself, but my dad owns a muzzle loader, 12 gauge, and has a couple rifles too.

Its kinda fucked up when "toys" are a zillion times more complicated than the real thing. Pretty impressive engineering though if they are reliable and provide consistent results.
Hows the accuracy on the rifle? Is the barrel rifled??

Shame about your gun laws where you live, owning firearms is a wonderful freedom. I own quite a few. My most recent acquisition is an m70 patterned AKM. Plan on some internal mods for it.

Accurate to 1m sq at about 80m which is perfect for airsoft as you're going for a human target. barrel is not rifled no, as the bb's are spherical
