Was this infraction justified?

The reason I'm asking is that I noticed I gotten an infraction a couple of months ago but didn't realize until now. It says expired, but the record is still there. I seem to have gotten it for spamming but not quite sure since I was just trying to buy something.

I don't know. You might try and contact the mod/admin that put you the infraction or look for it in the "report a spammer archive" if you know the exact date .

 

You dont need to post saying "PM'ing", just PM. I'd maybe have warned rather than infracted but having infractions doesn't affect your account unless you accumulate a number of un-expired infractions and this particular one expired quite a while back.
