    Greetings.
I have a computer with Windows 7 which set-up in C: drive. Now i want to try Linux and Ubuntu aswell. (So i can have a general idea.)
    I have a 10-15 GB C: drive
And 450-460 GB D: drive (Have like 200GB empty space) (My 2TB removeable Hard disk is full)
//The numbers are random couse my PC is on it's way to my new home at the moment
    Question is :
Are there a program for slicing unused space in D:?
(I remember some programs /forgot their name & not sure if they are up to date)
    Thanks

use the one built-in to windows. Go to your search bar, and type "disk management" and it will bring up your drive info for every individual partition/volume. If you want to partition a drive, or partition a volume even further, it's easy to do with that. Just do not do ANYTHING with the volume that your OS is on unless you know exactly what you're doing.

What it looks like is you have a single 500gb drive in your computer, partitioned out with a single 15GB volume for your OS. I'd leave that alone.

Yeah, i that's why i picked it up as 15 GB. i only use C: drive for windows itself, other then that, all programs, document are in D: drive. I want to split D to D/E/F (D for linux) (E for ubuntu) (F for program's and other stuff.)
Thanks for advice, i'll check when my original computer comes and feedback further questions
