This is why people, most of the 2013 and 2014 members are here to scam. No matter the amount that people donate, I am not saying that everyone is a scammer which I am stating is that mostly of the new comers are here to scam and people, because of course of they "high valued" account believe them and just lose their goods. Nonetheless I would like to say that not only the newcomers are scammers, but the big majority of them. Just pay attention to the scammer reports. Of course admins were banned for scamming high amounts but they can be easily counted. Even I learned a lesson here, no matter if the guy has $300 or $1000 donated to sythe, you can always get scammed.. Please if you post a comment then just deffend your statement, i want to have a civilized chat where no one of the parts will disrespect the other.
And between this is about the user Coinking.

This isn't the first time, nor will it be the last when someone decides to scam. Join date and amount donated is not a definitive factor for deciding that.

I kinda agree there but I think that this is relevant information since a 2007 user knows that his account is kinda "worthy" just because of the year when the acc was made. I do agree that the amount donated isn't a definitive factor. Liked your comment tbch. But the most of people who scam are the "newcomers", I repeat not the 100% of them but a high percent, just look at the report a scammer archive and you will see. This isn't just trash talking, i mean i am not taking the numbers out of my pocket, I state what I see and believe me when i say that if it would be otherwise I would say the same thing.

Though some people really want to be legit and all, sometimes shit happens in people lives, which then can change everything.

I could say that this is the lowest percent of the newcomers. But still yes, there are some.

Well, let's start it here, when sythe was made ( back in the 2005 ). There was a small amount of people around here including high staff people. After that, this website wasn't by far as famous as it is now and the people who were creating accounts weren't thinking by far that they would create it and scam. If you would be a user from 2007 with a big amount of vouches and a big amount of money donated to this syte I would look at you different, by telling this I mean that I would still not think that you could scam but a 2007 user , who has been active to this year just talks for itself. This is logic.

That is logic? You just agreed that join date is not a definitive factor, now you're saying it shows some sort of validity, which by the way is subjective. You're being naive right now.

You don't understand that join date means something even if you don't like it, I said that either a 2007 member can scam or a 2014 , IT DOESN'T MATTER, what I am trying to state is that people will pay attention to the 2014 user meanwhile they will "trust" more a person who is from 2007. I am talking for myself and infact I think most of the people will think the same as me. You didn't get the point.

I'm inclined to believe it's always been that way; most scammers are newcomers. I suppose one way to check that is look through the archives and see if most of the scammers in 2010 (or 2009, 2008,....) were (then) new members. I would hope that by now most people are smart enough to realize that old join dates mean nothing without quality vouches.

Like what about it? What is there to not like? If it meant something, I wouldn't have ditched my old account to make a new one. The way you're trying to word your defense makes no sense. Wouldn't they not pay attention to the newcomer, being as he doesn't have much to lose? It seems you don't get my point. Any user of any set joined date is just as capable of scamming as the newcomer as everyone started out as a newcomer before. Obviously most newcomers in this age are proven to be ban evading from old accounts which makes it harder for genuine newcomers. It ultimately depends on the opportunity and the value of the trade.

JOin date to me is just a date. If you have a built up trust with the community through vouches and whatnot, then to me, you are a decent person to trade with.

BUT with that being said, no MATTER what you should take your precautions. Request PM, look for 2FA Sythe/Skype accounts and use a OMM if you doubt the trade in ANY way.

Trust is earned by proof, not by tenure.
