[Food] 7-Select - Fiery Hot Potato Chips

If it's spicy, I have to get it. I looked for these chips earlier but they weren't at the 7/11 stores I went to for some reason.




What's the first thing you notice?

Those chips don't look extremely seasoned like Doritos.

Listen, Bob, these chips may not look like it, and they may look like they have even less flavor in real life, but I may have been unlucky. If you eat 3 of these chips then you start to notice the flavor, Bob. You can notice a bit of smoke flavor, which is what makes BBQ chips taste so BBQ. Personally, I hate it when smoke flavor is in spicy chips, but the flavor was barely there (I didn't see it officially in the ingredients, but I know what I taste) so I didn't care. The spicy flavoring is really close to Flamin' Hot seasoning. So close, that I want them to make tortilla chips so I could get some Flamin' Hot Doritos without my trip to Mexico (spoiler alert).

A normal 4/5 because they taste good. They'd get the same rating even with more flavor on the chips, because I ate enough chips to grasp the flavor. The only negatives are the price (99 cents you can buy the Lay's Flamin' Hot right next to it) and the little bit of smoke flavor. I'm assuming this is the same size as 99 cent bags. I don't feel like looking it up.

It has no actual spice like most chips that aren't limited edition.

I'd skip this product. It's good, but not worth trying.

You should have a thread with links to all of your reviews and bump it regularly.

 

That would spam the first page of whatever section I post it in. Those constant bump threads are usually in market sections. I don't want to be a jerk.

Where would I post said thread, Nero? I cannot think of a section where I could post it without people hating me for bumping it aside from Sand Box.

If I see someone with pistachios I'll be sure to bum one and give them another shot then it'll be in my intro before the pic.
