His achievements...with 10 hp. & look where he says how many hours each achievement took. Wow.

How much do you think his account is worth? Could it even be sold?

 

I haven't seen an account like that, wow.
It could probably be sold to someone who wants to show-off.
Not a very useful account in my opinion.

 

Look at how much time and money he said each accomplishment took..this account would be tens of thousands of dollars.

These 10 HP accounts I'll never understand.

Plus, nobody can really appreciate how hard it is what he's doing because next to nobody does it.

I suppose that raises it's value, but the market for an account like that would be limited, in terms of desire, not how much it is.

Other than showing off, I don't see a use for it, really.

Nobody gonna drop 10's of thousands for something that can easily be recovered.

I'd say when he's done with it, a couple grand, if he can find the right buyer.

$2200 just in pure gold put in. Before factoring in time, other stats, the increased difficulty of 10hp..

That's what I'm saying, this account can't even be sold. It's worth $5000+ easy..no one's going to actually spend that. I mean, I hope the guy really likes the game. Back in the glory days I would've really loved this. Now though..one day, probably relatively soon, Runescape's gonna die out and he's gonna be left with over a thousand hours put into something worth nothing but memories... (#damn, to lighten the mood)

 

I hear ya man, it's an impressive account, don't get me wrong. But, really, Idk. Runecrafting to 99 is easily over 1,000 hours, and you also make over 500m. So the time + money is there for other skills. I guess though that's why only 150 people have 99 rc, it's not as rare as these 10 hp accounts, but I'd argue it's way more useful.

Like, once it's maxed, I don't see what you can do with it other than show off, and even that luster isn't what it used to be, because as you said, Runescape is dying, sadly nobody even really cares about others achievements anymore..at least not enough so to make these gargantuan achievements worth getting.

Thanks for sharing though, it's certainly an interesting account build, but I'm much happier spending my time trying to get 99 rc again, because that's a good personal achievement and will be a cash cow when I can double nats, with runners, and potentially look into selling the gp for some rl cash. Especially good because people are comfortable buying gp versus accounts, as it can't be taken away.

Sorry to go off on a tangent, just showing that I feel like my time doing RC way more potentially valuable than this dudes account made solely to show off (though his dedication is impressive). Also just wanted to show that the time commitment for RC is similar, but you'd never see a 99 rc account go for even 5 grand.

Also, I it's questionable how he got his money. I see he claims he hasn't gotten donations, but I don't see any money making skills to justify the 600m+ he's spent. Wouldn't be surprised if this was a RWT funded account, which doesn't bother me or lessen its impressive stats, but if he were RWT'ing he'd already lose money from the account cuz he's sinking money into it.

 

Agreed. If it was RWT funded and he sank all the gold into those stats..man, I just truly wonder what is IRL life is like...

 

No one would buy an account like this for what it's worth and I doubt someone who makes this kind of account would want to sell it.

To me, 10 hp seems like a risky concept to put so much money into..if he gained any HP xp by some terrible accident..so, so much time wasted.

I'm sure he triple checks auto retaliate off every 5 seconds and what not but still. when you have 90+ stats all it takes is one hit to gain a HP level.

 

Came across that thread a couple of weeks ago, unbelievable account. The patience required is just immense. Couldn't ever imagine putting the time/money into something like this. Another impressive feat is the guy doing an iron man series with no banking.

Not sure what sounds worse to me haha.

 

An account is only worth what people will pay for it. That said, I don't think his account is worth very much at all. It's basically 100% useless. Stupid and a waste of time, in my opinion.

 

Two possibilities.

Either he's got a nice job and his social life hasn't suffered, or he's a drug dealer and his social life hasn't suffered.

You can't judge someone's social life based on the money they dump into a hobby. That's like saying "LOL YOU HAVE A WORLD WAR 2 COLLECTION? HAHA WHAT A TOOL, LOOK AT THIS GUY! PUTTING MONEY TOWARD SOMETHING HE ENJOYS, HAHA FAGGOT!"

He's probably a well off, mid-20-year-old guy.

 

Not very useful unless it has a 99 in only 1 combat skill =P thatd be epic a low lvl acc with a skillcape in one combat skill
