Paypal Dispute :)

Just won a Paypal Dispute as a gold seller for 150$. If you guys have trouble disputing these kinds of cases, the best thing you can do is make sure to send in all the evidence. I even went out of the way to literally link the scam report that I made about the user. And the fact that the user was banned for being caught scamming.

Do NOT be afraid to call paypal and ask for help. The last thing you want to do is dispute it with no evidence. Email the Buyer and ask him why he chargebacked , and if he doesn't reply, Take screenshots and tell paypal that he refuses to communicate with you because obviously he just wants easy money.

The thing that won it for me, was the fact that all I said was, "This payment was for virtual goods". I even linked his vouch page to prove that he indeed buys Virtual goods very often.

 

Last time I mentioned the trade was for virtual goods, they closed the dispute and gave the guy back his money. You got lucky on the agent.

 

Yeah, their policy on not protecting virtual goods purchases can go either way, depending on the agent. Glad you won, but this probably wouldnt work every time

 

Yeah from what I've heard is that they don't care about virtual good disputes. They know that we all know the risks of virtual good trading

 

Like what others have said, you got lucky with that one agent on PayPal. This still does not guarantee a sure win way of winning disputes, it's just could go both ways depending on agent.

 

Hopefully when they update the virtual goods policy, it'll be a bit easier to win.

 

I know that this isn't a sure way to win a dispute, but I'm pretty sure taking the initiative to show evidence that he did indeed attempt to scam does. I linked the Scam Topic I made about him. I even linked his Banned Profile that was associated with his paypal.

I never told the agent that it was for virtual goods. I just used the dispute form

 

For virtual goods and services, the seller ALWAYS wins. There is no buyer OR seller protection, and they just side with the seller. Trust me on this one, i've won dozens of non-receipt claims. Unauthorized is insta gg though
