Permanent bans

So last April I was banned for macroing/gold farming which was my friend's fault because he was using my account to merch and sell gold and he ended up botting on it, but then again it's my fault for letting him on my account lol.

Anyway, I've had this account for about 7 years, and it has some pretty good stats, and I just really don't want to lose it. When I got banned I sent in an appeal and it still has not been looked at, and it's been a year. I sent in a message about 2 weeks ago and still no reply.

My question is, is there a chance I can ever get it back? Does anyone know if they are going to unban accounts like they did a few years ago? I forget when it was but I think it was around Christmas a few years ago they unbanned all permanently banned accounts I believe because I remember one of my accounts got unbanned.

It'll be very tough but I have done before. You must have valid points and be professional about it. You must also be respectful to them. You can also tweet at Mod Beno ( I think) and ask him to look over your appeal.

Now a days, they won't un ban you because they believe they are 100% correct, which in most cases, they are.

very rare chance youll get unbanned..i mean i was banned on my original account on january 2009 for doing a penguin point glitch to get summoning up ;D..and i contacted a jmod on twitter and he said i wont ever be unbanned..haha xD

Possible not going to get it back but does it tell you the set time the ban will be lifted?

 

i had a perm ban on an account that was botted and i appealed it saying a bunch of bs like i was sorry and understand i was screwing up the economy and abusing the game for actual players but they reset me and wiped my bank worth a shot dude

It's worth trying, theres always stories about people getting unbanned.

 

I've been stalking mod weath or w/e on twitter and there's been a few instances in the past few weeks where people have been unbanned. A common situation where they give you the benefit of the doubt is when your account is compromised then banned. They check the ip's and if the ban isn't dished out because you botted from your ip there's some possibility you could get unbanned

yes please do not say that someone else was using ur hack, i did that mistake, i wrote them that somebody was using my account (my main got also banned last year) and the wrote me back this

We checked it and the ban will not be removed. Thorough reviews were done to make sure it was applied correctly.

Tweet the staff and say you were hacked. And email them.

 

Sorry to hear about your loss. I'm in a similar situation I botted on my main and I got perm banned I submitted a message via ticket system and email and so far no reply but I'm sure I'll get the copy and paste rejection email since Jagex currently has a zero tolerance rule towards botting. Hopefully in a few years Jagex will do another mass unban like they did in 2011 or bring back the yearly buy-back program.

 

Yeah I heard about buy back too in 2011 and 2012, there are YT vids too.

 

I was perm banned aswell for botting on rs3 thought i only botted 1 hour lol it was lvl 117 on 07 had like 300m rs3 on it and 70m+ r07 :/
