    Hey guys, anyone who lurks the personal support forum probably knows me. But, I'm usually on the other side of this...I'd like some help on how to control anger.

    I'm not going to elaborate on real situations too much, I don't want this to be something that would be held against me in the spam forum. They are notorious for lurking the personal support forum and using it against people in petty arguments. Also, I'm too lazy to post with anonymity.

    Anyhow, I'm well known in real life for roid rage black outs. Not the bad type where I get hostile with someone for no reason. More along the lines of when someone hits a woman, is disrespectful, drunk and running there mouth, ect.

    Example: Say I'm at a party, and someone slaps a woman in the face. I think in my head, I'm going to just punch them in the face and walk away. Instead, I lose my temper, fucking death metal scream at them like a psycho, pull a knife on them, thus scaring everyone away from the party, and the popo gets called.

    Any thoughts? Lol

    When something happens just take the time out to stop , breathe and collect yourself.

    Calming down and thinking before you act is the only way to combat it really, it will take time and practise to be able to shut the initial anger out but with time it's achievable.

    Instead of thinking I'm going to punch them in the face and walk away just do the latter and walk away. As much as you would like to stand up for that person you've said it yourself that you can't handle yourself.

    Removing yourself from that situation would be your best bet. Do your best to prevent yourself in being in those situations.

    I appreciate everyone replying guys. I'm going to try to be calm and collective, and probably purchase a stress ball. Those things are awesome lol. Wish me luck, just going to a small kick back tonight. :)

    good luck, whenever I feel pissed at my sister, I just get a stress ball pretending Im squeezing her head which then cools me off, and then don't feel pissd at my sister :D

    think of the consequences.. i got locked up for punching one of my teachers. not worth it.
