Make a rule change to gift-card market

I'm getting real tired of seeing threads one by one being locked for 'not showing pics' WHEN IT'S A VIRTUAL GC.

Having people show pics will not reduce the amount of scammers at all. Showing pics is only a nuisance to sellers who have their threads locked. I can easily photoshop a picture to make it look like I have a giftcard code. I slap my name on it using the text editor, take a pic with my phone, and there we go, I have convincing proof I have a giftcard. So while the person gets scammed buying this non-existent giftcard, another thread hosted by a user with vouches who is a 4+ year member gets his thread locked and buried deep in the forums for not posting a picture.

So, please, edit the rules for the gift-card market so threads will not get locked for not showing a picture.

 

This is a rule for all giftcards. You can post an image of the GC in your email with the number edited out.

If people would abide by the rules and take the time to read the stickies, threads will not be locked. Do you think we as staff take pleasure in closing threads like this? [No we don't]

Since this is a site wide rule to post images of whatever you are selling, this is denied. Thanks for your suggestion though.
