    Short term:

Pure ess = most liquid, you can sell your entire stock of nmz points in minutes with this. However, this is the most commonly sold item so don't expect to get more than 3 points per 1 gp.

Herb secondarys = these are very hard to sell. On average, supply exceeds demand 50fold on zybez. To make matters worse, demand is usually only a couple of thousand, and by one player. Nonetheless you can make as much as 2:1 doing something like dragon scale dust.

Runes = runes are slowly surpassing the pure ess gold standard. Runes can not go lower than 5:1 but pure ess is expected to go as low as 7:1. Water runes are the best here, followed by air.

    Long term:

If you can afford to save them that's the best thing to do. Eventually the game will be nerfed and reward values should double in price. Think about what will happen to 8 gp water runes when they nerf nmz and make wild worth going to...

How will you get 350gp dragon dust without nmz? It takes an hour to gather 1k and then another 30 mins to grind it. and p ess too

    herb boxes presumed.

    tldr pess/waters or pess/waters/airs/dust/cactus

qtay, would you suggest holding off on spending points until said nerf?

Right now the only two points of contention are the xp rates and the impact of cheap ess on runecrafting. When they nerf nmz, surely less people will do it, or (if they remove runes and you have to bring your own) people will be less willing to sell their ess off for nothing. But for the time being pure ess could go even lower because supply just continues to exceed demand day in and day out. Merchanters hold such a high volume of pure ess right now. They basically absorbed the massive supply of ess.

Given that a nmz nerf is at least a couple of weeks away and there is currently no speculation affecting the market, you are better off just cashing out your points asap. As soon as they repoll it and it's clear that it will pass that week leading up to it will see prices of all materials rise as nmz players hoard their points, as runecrafters stock up on ess, and as merchants try to get a free lunch.

If you can afford to hold points, then it's up to you. The only for sure investment advice I could give right now is going out and getting things like potato cactus and dragon dust with gp. You can easily them for 70% of what people are selling on zybez, and in the case of cactus not many people are even spending points on them so any nerf whatsoever would cause them to rise.

Keep in mind a lot of zybez offers for the herblore stuff is people just advertising the item and then if you say you wanna buy then they go and convert the points.

Cheap ess? Ess was dirt cheap anyway, I did make a spreadsheet with changing prices a while back but I seem to of misplaced it now lol, I think ill make another one none the less.

Also I personally think unless you NEED the money then just hold onto the points, I buy herb boxes every day and overloads, the rest I just save, for days where i cba scaping i still log on for herb boxes. It's best gp/pts.

i would just go for the ess, i don't think nmz is a huge profiteer hourly anyways.

herb boxes are best per point reward. Theres quite an extensive discussion going on in the rs forums, just google it, someone actually made a spreadsheet.

Most profitable would be herb boxes then pure ess, theres a few others that are better but much harder to sell.
