I make a post about me wanting to exchange gold on rs and it clearly said that i had no membership but will pay after i buy a bond from the 4m we agreed on, after we made the deal i told him that we need to do the eoc one so i can buy a bond and all of a sudden he says he doesn't trade first and that i never told him i needed the 4m first. even though he read my post and replied to it. he was also good with people i guess since he had lots of vouches. i have yet to solve my problem that i need 4m then i can pay back, we even agreed on 1:5 for first payment. I'm am just frustrated that people won't help me out. I'm not a scammer. and people don't trust me.

 

Gain some vouches and you'd have better luck with people going first to you. You can't force people to go first so even though he replied to your thread where it may say "I won't go first" it doesn't suggest he has to go first. Many people say "I won't go first" but will go first if the other user is trusted or has some vouches.

 

Unfortunately, like any new business on Sythe or IRL, you'll have to build your own reputation. It can be tough and frustrating but it reaps large rewards. Just continue treating customers pleasantly, perhaps become involved in the community side of Sythe and you could, as suggested above, gain some vouches through something like questing or skilling for free. When people see you have vouches, they will feel more inclined to trust you. For the time being, you'll find it beneficial only trading with extremely reputable members and going first or using a middleman with anyone else.
