Legalize Marijuana?

Marijuana is growing across America Literately and metaphorically!, and i know everyone here isn't from american but this is basically a debate for Americans as myself.

So far, only Colorado and Washington state have legalized marijuana for recreational use, while other states permit medical marijuana. Other states are barley considering even legalizing it for medicinal uses. for example New York (where i'm originally from) just legalized medical marijuana.

so i guess the real debate is, do you think marijuana should be legalized for recreational use? or just medicinal purposes? or not at all? Should there be an age limit on who can smoke it and who can't? Personally i have smoked and even being an Ex-marijuana user, i could care less if it is or not because i plan on joining the U.S Army but that's just my opinion. Tell me yours!

Think it's a lot less dangerous then alcohol, but It won't be legalized anytime soon. Even though we elect our officials and everything where just sheep to the wolves. Only way anything of this nature will be decriminalized on a federal level is if the people decided to do what Iceland did and overthrow the government as an attempt to settle us down.

I know that sounds stupid as hell but it's the truth. Only when shit get's really bad do they pass bills that really "help" people and appease them.

 

But in colorado its legal for recreational use, and look what its doing to the students.

When i'm stoned at school I actually remember things majority of the times. And it's not like one "recovering addict" can speak for everyone. He spent time in jail for Paraphernalia which means he had a lighter under the age of 16 or a smoking piece under the age of 18, that's so bad that we need to waste tax dollars putting a kid in juvy for it instead of a ticket or something?

When I drink I get all warm and start talking out of turn not paying attention, where I can smoke and just sit and vibe.

 

lucky you, for me a high is weird, i sit there zone out, i feel droopy, and have little to no energy, and i know that its not the stuff im smoke usually, theres only a few times where i felt up on a high, thats when i smoked lemon haze, or some kush. which both are pretty expensive compared to your street "Kay" which means just your regular bud that most people smoke its nothing specific, so i was told.

It does more good than harm so it should be legal.

The government is wasting too much money on arresting these people who can give back to the economy. The jails are becoming more of a business and new ones are being created rapidly.

Don't make it illegal because a black market is created and that itself makes the drug look bad. Alcohol is more dangerous than weed and it's legal.

Just regulate it and everything will be straight.

Don't use entertainment sites/channels as a source of fact or legitimacy. CNN will always be against what they're against and for what they are for. Even if God himself came down and said "weed is an amazing thing, everyone should have access to it, and I smoke it every day" CNN would still be against it. CNN, Fox, and channels of the sort are unreliable and post bias articles to sway the populations opinion.

Im pro marijuana legalization, but kill the yolo 420 blazeit kids. They will probably move on to crack when marijuanas illegal "edginess" wears off.

 

Where are you from? I've never herd the term "kay" ever, And I've been at this awhile now. And even If your like that, alcohol will do the same thing as you described so why is one worse then the other?
