League of Legends RP Section Suggestion

I've suggested this in the past, i believe it needs implementing.

Take a look at the RP, Gifts and Referrals section, I find it IMPOSSIBLE to find a thread selling Riot points, the section is filled with referrals and Skin services.

My suggestion is to split

As suggested, Skins/RP section + Services section

It would make it much easier to find what you're looking for. Hope you support.

No support. The influx of said threads isn't enough to warrant it's own section. Also RP sales/purchases are relevant to skin sales aswell.

 

Why not? One section is too many, two sections too little? i'd prefer too little imo. Yes they are, but it clogs the section up.

 

If anything, they should have a rp/skin section, then services section, for boosting, doing referrals and so on.

 

Gonna have to agree with Sellerman. It just seems fine as it is to me.

Can always test it and put it back to how it was if it doesnt work.

 

I'm not a massive LoL player but I have toyed around with it in the past. Based on how everything is within the game I kind of see them going together within a section. But on the other side of that coin that doesn't mean that if you change something that you're incapable of putting it back and I am pretty sure it wouldn't take that long to test it out. No harm in doing it really. I support.

 

Im with heeatz wouldn't hurt to implement it and if it fails just remove it.

 

Wouldn't mind testing it out to be honest I mean it is true you really cant find a place in there to buy riot points without tearing up lol hahah but its worth a try maybe ill open up a RP shop then ha GL with suggestion though "needed".

 

I think its okay as it is. Might be a little cluttered with skin sales but there aren't enough RP threads to really make a section for it.

 

Agreed with Dire/Soviet/Sellerman, etc. I believe the section would be used, but not actively enough to justify its existence. If the admins want to try it out, we can see about that; it just doesn't seem necessary right now.

 

Try looking for a thread selling RP etc, tell me how long it takes, does it matter if the section is not THAT active. The section we currently have in my opinion is TOO active.

 

I don't support. The section covers all of the redeemable cards you can buy and trade for LoL, so they belong together. No point in separating RP points, especially when it's dead last in how much activity it brings to the section. So in accordance with public opinion, it's backwards to split up an already inactive section in hopes that it will help further develop the market. Convenience doesn't bring activity, the feasibility and demand of the market brings activity.


Side-note: if you're looking for RP sales threads, then use the search feature and look for "Riot Points". I've found several threads on the first page, most of which are still active, even.

Footnote: I don't like the whole RP sales market. I don't see how anyone could make money selling RP cards when they've either purchased them themselves at retail price, or came across them in a shady and illegitimate way.

 

I agree with the searching part, but the same thing could be said about rs pins, especially back in the day. People were selling pins for rs07 before rs3 was even made, and for about 5 bucks per memship which to me I don't understand how they could be making any money.

 

PIN sales have been disallowed at sythe because they WERE (and still are) illegitimately obtained through what's called p1n l1nes (1's are I's, it's censored). Basically scamming an Australian(?) Tele company into making them pay using the "bill by phone" option, and billing it to temporary phone numbers... or something along those lines. It's highly illegal, the company loses thousands, and people sell these freely obtained PINs for a lower cost.

That's why I don't like this whole RP sales thing. It's basically the same principle, and I wouldn't be surprised if they're getting these RP cards in a similar way.

 

From what I see for paying by phone is only up to 10 bucks. So I'm not really sure, maybe it should be held under investigation as to how then.
Which I kinda want to know, because I like to buy rp cards.

What do that have to do with this suggestion? xD i see where your coming from and understand your point of view. Some skin codes are gained in a way like this, there is nothing we can do to stop it.

 

Skins? No, RP. Isn't the only way to get RP is either through a card or through the in-client shop?
