Is it profitable to set up a gold farm in OSRS?

And if so, is the market for OSRSGP big?

Im doing hunter at the moment, but I only rack around 300k per hour.
-Im only really making like 10$ per day

So would it be worth buying memberships for more accounts and setting them all up?

OSRS is very profitable on a large scale if you're able to avoid bans. The gold sells for $3.4/m very quickly on PA and slightly less on Sythe. It's been very stable for a while which is nice.

Anyways, receiving constant bans will be detrimental to any profits, what so ever. Also, if you're new to the botting scene, you may experience a 'dominoes' effect whereby after one account is banned, the rest will follow. It's your main job to avoid this.

300K/hr is great but hunter has typically had a high ban rate, so be careful if you do this on a large scale.

My advice to you would be to research threads in this section and on TRiBOT, and checking out some guides.

Is the $10/day only one account? If it is, that's not bad.

TL;DR - hunter is good profit but you'll be banned fast on all your accounts.

Yeah, I mean say im botting 15 hours out of the day, Im making around 4.5m daily.

With this in mind, selling 3$/m im making around 13$ a day.

My question is, on a larger scale, whats the risk of losing money. If hunter is risky, what other skill could be safer?

Accounts that require stats/quests are obviously going to have lower ban rates. As with anything in commerce, doing something unique and different to the rest of the competition will usually reap in rewards.

Try and find a private method and create/pay someone to create a script. Otherwise, you could aggressively make accounts, bot something like flax and make 2m or so, than get banned in a few days. People like the 'expect bans, rather than avoiding' method but I don't.

Sorry if my explanation is sloppy, I haven't slept much lately.

Hunter will not work on a large scale, I've had some luck with Fishing.

Have had 10 accounts all Fishing nearly non-stop for the past month.

It's generally luck, but it's very profitable if done properly.

If you've got over 5 accounts botting, when one account gets hit, they'll all be hit regardless if you're on a VPN with separate IPs on every account. This is a fact, don't invest in a VPN. Just a clean IP everytime.

If your IP is static, you'll need a VPN though.

Your right though. It's all about what JAGEX is bot watching. This usually has to do with popularity.

There's ways to change your IP from Static to Dynamic so paying for something you can do for free seems a bit silly to me.

Also a VPN doesn't automatically mean the IP is clean, a lot of 'em are dirty.

That depends on the ISP. In Australia it's much harder to find a provider who will enable dynamic IP.

It doesn't matter if your IP is static, Jagex can just wildcard it. They aren't that dumb to think "OMG 78.78.78.78 just stopped making botting accounts and 78.78.78.79 is botting?? Are they the same person??"

Static is where you can't change the IP easily, dynamic is where you can. Also, the IP doesn't change by only 1 number but Jagex can track you via location.

Yes, it's a very profitable area of IRL wealth. Can make plenty of money if you set up right and use the right scripts.

Static is an IP that cannot change, Dynamic is an IP that does change.

The number doesn't just gain by one, nobody here knows how JaGeX detects botting but they see through VPNs + proxies granted it's not very hard for a business who's been through this daily for years.

Of course it is worth it.
