Electricity Costs...

Well I'm just a kid, and I'm wondering how much it costs for one computer to be on for 24 hours. Just an average, just the actual computer, not the monitor. So the question is - About how many USD does it cost for the electricity to run one computer (monitor turned off) for 24 hours?

 

not sure how much exactly but minimal. like ur computer is probably the least energy consuming thing in ur house. compared to the water heater, fridge, stove, washer/dryer the computer is nothing.

 

I always keep mine running, it doesn't use much power. Nothing noticeable anyway.

you have no idea what ur talking about do you? he is asking the price of pc running per 24hrs...... its not $2 or $3... if anything its prolly bellow $0.25 for both Pc and Monitor and ur speakers to run for 24hrs.

 

yeah, your AC consumes 4-5 times more electricity than your PC, Monitor, and surround sound speakers

 

My electricity bill is currently 60 a month, I would say around $5-10 a month if its on 24/7.

 

Under .25? Thats good . Does anybody know on average how much an electricity bill would be for a four-person family?
