Beards are fine, mustaches are a whole other topic though.

 

You live in WA, as long as you can properly grow it I'd go for it.
Given, you live in the white trash part of Washington, so I would go for the pencil thin douchebag beard.

 

I like having stubble but not a fan of anything more on myself. Girlfriend hates it but idc.

I'm a fan of stubble (for men). No facial hair at all (women). Full on beards aren't for me, or most of the girls I know tbh.

I've had a full beard since I was 20 or so and haven't shaved since. I've never done any different styles. I keep it pretty long, about 1.5 to 2 inches, but also neatly trimmed. Pretty much every girl I know loves beards including my current girlfriend and I hate shaving, so I just always have one now.
