I personally think that the purpley colour does not suit the jad in the background, it looks like two separate images just put together rather than one piece of work. If you chose to use a colour from the original jad image then it would have worked better. However, the original image i believe is already quite busy so did not really need anything extravagant.

Try downloading some fonts from Dafont and making them blend in with the picture nicely, It looks really out of place to have your name there.
