Problem, need someone with higher power to view this

The complaint is that it's expensive for people that are big known account Rs Old School account sellers to be forced to pay for membership for Rs Old School accounts just to take 2 pictures to sell the account. I don't find this situation 100% a problem with a specific staff member. It's about the system for known Rs Old School account sellers with shops.

I own one of the biggest private Runescape account selling shops on Player Auctions, Powerbot, Sythe, and OSBot and recently I have been informed that I have to forcefully pay for membership for every single Runescape Old School account in order to sell on Sythe just to take 2 extra pictures. My account shops thread on Sythe was also recently closed. My sale has been similar on all 4 sites for weeks and months. I've been a long lasting salesman and proof can be found each of my shop threads. If you looked at the history of me selling accounts, you would notice that a lot of accounts have been sold and you would notice that if any buyer had a question for an account or wanted to view extra pictures, in my thread it states that buyers may contact me on Skype. Forcing me (Individuals) to get membership on every single Rs Old School account just to take and display bank pictures and bank pin pictures would be very costly for business... providing pictures of just account stats or a picture from the Rs account manager page on the Rs homepage saying "Not a Member" is possible. Also, since recoveries are now referred to as J.A.G. nowadays, a picture of J.A.G. "Disabled" is possible from the Rs account manager page on the Rs homepage. Someone with higher power please fix this.

I don't really understand what you're getting at / complaining about.

If the stickies say you need to provide adequate pictures that prove this and that, what is there to complain about?

Note that if you have a legitimate problem with a staff member you should PM a staff member of the next higher rank.

Edit - Forgot to mention that accounts and such on other sites are meaningless here.

Make a thread there on what + why you disagree with it. It's the best way to give feedback to the site.

 

It's to proove you're in possession of account you are trying to sell. Those stickies aren't here without reason, you should read and follow them in every section. If you dont feel confortble with them you'll just get infracted for breaking rules. As laptop stated you can post in feedback, but you wont do much.

If I have 46 vouches then that means a trade went through successfully and it also means that I've been in possession of every account I've sold. The process of account selling for me has goes like this: Buyer post's order on my thread; I then confirm the form by quoting the form. Then the trade begins and ends with a vouch + thanks a lot kiss.

 

I think the rule doesn't help much, pictures are so so easy to fake and edit to the point of them really being meaningless anyway. Account sales are also a huge scam fest at times with recoveries and such, it is hard to find a legit user and you won't find that from a picture or two.

Everything is buy at your own risk anyway, I don't see this rule helping to avoid scammers much. I know I have bought accounts and have had them recovered months later and no longer having the adequate proof to get the person banned, and they had the required pictures. It happens all the time and the pictures aren't stopping the scammers.

The requirement of pictures in this situation only hurts the honest people, the dishonest people will still be able to edit the picture and do what they need to do.
