History of RS development?

Hello,

I am curious as to if anyone know any site that has detailed information on the development of RS starting in RS Classic?

I am looking into game making and I have an idea that I want to use similar mechanics as RS. Basically, my game is going to be similar to the 2007ish mechanics. I am interested in the way the graphics are. 3d? 2d? All that sort of good information.

At one point you could filter the news posts on the RS official website and look at tech upgrades, I'm not sure if this is still possible.
