Sold account, buyer claiming I took it back

So the buyer of my account just messaged me through eBay saying I've taken the account back, which I haven't.

So I look up some keywords from the forum posts I've made over the years and found that my name is something like [#XFW3T3WGN8] and I can't view the adventurer's log either as it's a 'non-member' account which it can't be as I sold it with the gold membership package ending in January. I've also just created a new account with the sold account's name as it's rare and it was available?...

Anyone know what's happened here?

 

He probably got it banned.

 

Yeah, as belbn stated. The account got banned. Contact him and see how it got banned; if he did it then don't give him a refund.

 

Is it possible the account got locked?

 

Hm okay, I checked the Adventurer's Log a few days ago and he was botting Divination by the looks of it. I'll contact Jagex - hopefully they can unban it. Thanks guys.

 

even if you won't have success it is not your fault, just that you know, nothing you should worry about

 

100% sure it's banned.
