Hey guys I have a budget of around $2,000. Can anyone put together a list of parts to make an awesome gaming PC?

This would be a great place to start looking, the first link is for sub $2000 intel gaming pc's and the second is for sub $2000 AMD gaming pcs.

*They don't include an OS in those stickies, you should keep that in mind.

How much storage do you need?

1st. Choose GFX Card
2nd. Choose Motherboard compatible with it (decide if onboard audio is fine with you now)
3rd. Case
4th. Power supply
5rd. Choose RAM
6th. HDD
etc

Choose a CPU first... Then choose a motherboard compatible with that. GPUs will work in pretty much all motherboards (just make sure it has the right PCI slots).
