Disputing A Ban

My user: Paper Bag was banned for having a fake [VERIFIED] tag in my elo boosting service thread.

Firstly, one of my boosters is verified so I thought that I was allowed to put that in the thread. If not, why didn't you notify me instead of just banning.

Secondly, I just donated so I wasn't planing on doing a scam or anything, it was just a misunderstanding between us.

I talked to a couple mods and they said I shouldn't be banned but told me to dispute it anyway.

Sorry if I did something wrong, won't happen again.

Superman did the ban and put "under investigation" as part of the reason so I'd like to see if he has anything to say, because IMO I guess I don't think you should get a second chance. It's an honest mistake, I've removed the tag, it's just like putting "trusted" when you're new so I think it's an honest mistake. Remove the tag and move on.

I tried to verify him a few days ago, but his booster fed in all 3 games that I watched him play at Plat III. I don't know if someone else verified him after that, but I refused to verify him based on the 3 losses.

 

Post a dispute with proof of your claims that a. your boosters have been verified and b. your boosters are working for you. Any other relevant information would be helpful as well.

I'll make sure what you said get's done, in terms of his actual verification, and making sure his claims are valid. If it's as Jay Zee said, and his Boosters are indeed not up to par, then the decision is yours.

If you could post on the thread I'm looking into it, be much appreciated!

I also advise you to post proof of your claims. Staff: please do not take any action here without my consent.

Spoke to him, and long story short; he thought 2/3 of his boosters were Verified, when only 1 was (Krenshaw); and hence he manually requested the tag be added, which should never be done, unless requested by a staff member/verification team.

Krenshaw worked for him per say, meaning he was listed as a Booster, but never actually partook/completed any orders due to only taking NA/EU ones.

His other two boosters aren't Verified, and he admits it as a mistake on his part, and leaves the decision up to y'all.

I corroborated with Krenshaw and Paper Bag, and both stories match up. It seems to be a naive mistake on Paper Bags part, but I don't really know the guy, so can't say for sure.
