Women and haircuts..

I think my girlfriend wants me to get a haircut.

When I asked her directly, she said "I like your hair; it's cute."

We're eighteen. Cute seems like a synonym for "lame and kinda childish but I'm not going to actually tell you to your face."

Is this true, or does she really think it's cute? Women especially, halp pls :3

 

If she says it's cute, then maybe, I 'unno, she thinks its.. cute? Why worry, it's not like she's going to break up with you over your hair, and if she does then you shouldn't have been together in the first place.

What style is it?

 

Well, it's not that I'm worried. I'm just wondering if this is one of those things girls say that mean something else, ya know. Like "I'm fine."

Roary, it's not any particular style. I went looking and found that it looks a lot like this guy's, but longer and really curly over the ears

Cute in my experience means she likes it. I wouldn't feel pressured to change it if I were you, but you can do whatever you like

 

Dont see a problem then bud, I'd understand if it were a bieber mop or something but you're good

 

people always ask why i stay single, Is because things like this and because i am in highschool and it doesnt matter to me. If girls dont like the way i get my hair cut then i guess i would keep looking. Doesnt seem like its worth it to change your style for a girl =p. My own opinion.

 

Stop over analyzing everything your girlfriend tells you.

 

Who cares what she likes, it is what YOU like.
It is your life, not hers so start making choices for yourself and what you like.

 

I would just keep it the way you currently have it. Knowing us girls, we would tell you straight up. Or...Run behind you with a trimmer.

 

My advice to you would be;

If you're interested in changing your hairstyle because you want to, then look at your usual celebrity hair styles and find one that you'd like, then get that style.

If you're changing it because you believe your girlfriend wants you to, and you do not want to. Then I recommend you do not change it, unless you're looking like you live on the streets.

Ziggily is so right.. I'd tell someone I was dating straight up whether I liked their hair or not. You need to stop worrying about every little thing your girlfriend says bud.

 

Thanks, everyone It was more of an opinion poll than an actual problem.

I was actually already planning to get it cut today. I think it looks a lot better now, and I'm sure my girlfriend won't mind.

You maybe over analyzing it as well. Don't read to deep into what women say I have a tendency to do that and it doesn't always end good if she wants you to get a hair cut she will let you know.

 

In my experience a lot of girls are used to seeing guys get awful haircuts and like them to keep it long.
Don't overanalize though! It's just hair. +

I prefer them with long hair down to there asses, but I have an African American girl friend so its kinda hard for her to grow her hair that long. I mean its down her back but now long enough.
