what the hell?

I asked several times whether or not I could advertise my website with this as my answer "read forum rules." Well, duh, why do you think I was asking? The forum rules obviously had me confused. So I asked in the problems and support section with more detail to my question. Yet, there was no answer from an authoritative figure, just a member replied? Then, all of a sudden a ten day ban? At the least give me a warning or something next time before ten day banning me..geez
