Logo needed for company

Hello,
I am currently looking for someone to complete a logo for a passion project of mine. My passion project is a social networking site for gamers. I am looking for something unique, probably icon based, that will help give users a symbol to remember the website by.

Whoever makes the logo WILL be paid AFTER the website starts to bring in a profit. This does not guarantee a payment, but if the website brings in a decent bit of users there will be a decent payment coming to the designers way.

So, a little more on the website. My ultimate goal is to support competitive gaming and its community. Right now the website only has Yugioh stuff, but it will be sponsoring MANY other games as well. Anything that has a large enough competitive base for the community to ask for it. It will allow people to share strategies on games, for card games it will allow decklists, sharing of videos, and possibly more in the future. As I said earlier there is a lot of work to be done still so do not judge the site base on what it is right now, I plan on making this a very successful launch.

Just a small recap

• There is no guarantee I will select ANYONES logo

The payment seems really broad and unknown, I recommend you give everyone an approximate amount to be looking at at least. Since neither is identified and can range from heaps to nothing.

No offence intended; just need some stuff clarifed

Also do you want your logo more professionally based or gaming based; since normally professional ones for companies just have text and its really linear with a simple logo but distinguishes who they are or gaming based; complexed text surrounded by yugioh logo etc etc

 

Haha the reason because the payment is broad and unknown is because I am unaware of what people want or what magnitude of success the project will have if any. And that is up to the person that makes it, but I rather simple. This is a passion project and something I am soloing up to now.
